Dr. Heezen’s faith and passion for helping others extends beyond rural Minnesota. He feels a sense of fulfillment in providing healthcare to underprivileged communities around the globe.

Dr. Maggie A. Currie, DDS

Dr. Maggie Ann Currie knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry after spending time at Prairie Lakes Family Dentistry during her summer breaks from SDSU while she was getting her undergraduate degree in biology. In watching first hand how her father, Dr. Heezen, was able to change lives right from his small town practice in Tracy, Maggie realized how important teeth and oral health are, not just for someone’s confidence, but for their overall well-being. Dr. Currie has a special interest in preventative and integrative care that is not limited to teeth, but rather a whole body approach to keep her patients happy and healthy for years to come. Dr. Currie is excited to return back home and work alongside her father, Dr. Heezen as together they provide comprehensive oral healthcare to patients of all ages.
